The Tuscan extra virgin oil is obtained by the transformation of olives which are collected and squeezed in Tuscany and it is the result of an accurate selecetion of the best oils awarded by the poartners of our olive oil mill and after the chemical and organoleptic analysis on the oil at the end of the squeezing of the olives.
Furthermore the documentory and organoleptic controls on the products made by the Consorzio dell’olio Toscano represent a guarantee of the sources and the respect of the Tuscan laws on the production of oils which is approved by the European Community and which protects the brand of the Tuscan oil all over the world, guaranteeing the source and quality. All the producers of oils have to accept this regulation if they want to produce oil with the Tuscan brand.
